My Weekly Newsletter “The Sunday Log”

After contemplating for days I finally did it.

I came across this idea from Ali Abdaal who said that to be consistent, sign a social contract.

This way someone will be accountable for your progress. If you want to be consistent with your blogs, start a newsletter and share it. Even if you have a handful subscribers, they will compel you to put your blog out every week. And do this straight for 2 years continuously. I am certain your life will change.

This is what I learnt from Ali.

What I also learnt from him is to lower the bar. Just write it. Let it be crappy.

So that is what I am doing. I signed up at Revue and started my newsletter. One blog will be from my personal website and the next will be from medium. This way alternatively, I have decided to send out my newsletters every Sunday.

Honestly I am just excited and very happy to be doing this. So much that I frankly don’t bother how many people subscribe to it. My job is to put a piece of content out there every week which hopefully is meaningful and valuable. But even if it isn’t 10/10, even if it is 5/10, who really cares, right? I will definitely improve over time.

Remember the story of 2 batch of students where one was asked to make one best pot and other was asked to make as many crappy pots as possible?

I am going to follow that Story and just make as many crappy blogs as possible and then I am sure by the end of 1 year, I will manage to create at least 10 of 10/10 content.

Pls do Subscribe here. It would mean the world to me of you become a part of my writing journey.
